Proximity of Remains Found Near Anthony Home *Video*

Click here for video of drive from Anthony's home to crime scene where remains were found.

Video drive conducted by Michelle Meredith of WESH 2 Orlando.
The drive only takes about one minute.

This video gives a very real perspective regarding the proximity of the remains, of which are believed to be those of little Caylee Anthony, were found in relation to the Anthony's home.

Those following the case will recall in Lee Anthony's jail visit with his sister, Casey told him she felt "in her gut, Caylee is close to home".

Little did we know how close.

Lee Anthony Destroys Caylee Memorial Outside of Anthony Home

It was a relatively quiet day outside the Anthony home on Saturday, that was until the uncle of missing Caylee and brother of Casey stormed out the front door.

Surprising the media and onlookers who watched, Lee Anthony walked over to a makeshift memorial in front of the house, grabbed up a cross, flowers, teddy bears and pictures that were left there in memory of his three year old niece. With a handful of microphones and cameras surrounding him, Lee had no comment other than "Come on my property and I will call the police." Lee then stormed back into the home.
How considerate of you, Lee, to thank the community that thought so much of your niece, yet so little of your sister. Call the police? Hmm, Lee, it's not your house. You haven't wanted to be within 1 inch of the police for the past three months. Except for that subpoena thing.

Shortly thereafter, Jose Baez drove up to the house in this silver Cadillac along with with members of his legal team.

Jose Baez Holds Impromptu Press Conference Saturday

After a quick visit to the Anthony's home then to the crime scene, Jose Baez held an impromptu press conference, late Saturday afternoon.

Sheriff Beary "In my gut, the remains are Caylee"

UPDATE ADDED Remains Found with Duct Tape on Mouth; Casey on Psych Watch, In Isolation

Reports from NBC News state that the utility worker that went into the woods and stumbled upon the bag. Upon using a stick to poke at the bag, a skull became visible and had duct tape on the mouth.

DNA from the remains will be compared to Caylee's DNA at Quantico, VA. When Jose Baez told Casey of the news, she began to sob.

Prosecutors tell NBC News that even though they had pulled the death penalty off the table, that could change.

According to Sheriff Kevin Beary, there are clues that came out of the bag yesterday that led them to obtaining the search warrant last night and secluding the Anthony home.

Casey is on Psychological Watch and is in isolation at the Orange County Jail.

*Update: Theories are that the duct tape found over the mouth on the skull could have been used to "stage" a kidnapping, or used in the actual death. Duct tape and garbage bags are excellent items for forensic evidence. They can contain trace evidence, such as on the duct tape, it can collect fingerprints, fibers, hair, etc.

Update to Remains Found Near Casey Anthony's Home

It is being reported by Mike Brooks on CNN, that Jose Baez is with Casey Anthony at this time after the remains have been found.

Jail officials did notify Casey when the remains were found. There are however, no reports of reactions from Casey at this time.

Natisha Lance, Nancy Grace producer, is interviewing Captain Angelo Nieves, of OCSO, at this time on CNN. The remains of a small child have been found but the condition of the evidence and and what was found with the remains are not being released at this time. Medical Examiner, forensics and CSI are on the scene. It is stated that it may be several hours before the scene will be cleared, and the remains removed.

The scene is in a populated neighborhood area. The Anthony's home is about one third of the way from the scene, but can not be seen from the scene.

Mike Brooks states that forensics will make soil comparisons from the soil from the scene to the soil on the shovel.

There is a remote possibility that due to the remains being underwater for such a period of time, there may be more to the remains than just bone. There is also tape on the bag with will also help in forensics, along with the bag itself. Remains and evidence will be sent to Quantico, VA, for testing with priority status.

More updates to come.

CAYLEE ANTHONY *BREAKING NEWS* Video Below...small child's skull found near Anthony home

Remains of a small child found in wooded area within less than a half mile radius from the Anthony's home.

A meter reader was doing work in the area, found a bag, dug it up and a skull fell out. No clothes were found. This area was underwater during the Summer flooding and had been searched, although due to water and flooding, nothing had been found.

FBI has instructed that the skull bones are a top priority and has instructed forensics to work through the weekend if need be. The area has been secured and is being investigated.

Updates will be posted as they become available.

Cindy Anthony is Cindy-nial (post-Larry King Live)

This post was written prior to adding the videos. Thank you to torbenmiller2 for them!!
My video recorder was down, so I wanted to give a synopsis of the interview. However, even though the videos have been added, I am leaving the post up.
*******************************************************************************

Thank you Cindy and George for not letting me down. The interview was just as I expected. Full of "spin-dy" , bullshit and denial.

George and Cindy made their appearance at the 30 minute mark of the show. When first shown, there was a small distance between them. After commercial break, they were close together, Cindy's hand on top of George's hand. Not in an affectionate type of way, but in a forced way.

The main focus of the show was, drum roll....Casey, the "smell", and the pizza.

Cindy started off the interview speaking of all the sleep and weight she and George have both lost.
Larry inquired about "Zanny" and why this would have happened. Neither had a straight answer for him.
Cindy immediately started portraying Casey as the perfect mother, and would never harm Caylee. She stated that Casey's main focus, as has been hers, "is finding Caylee".
Also, Cindy stated she received a tip at 4pm California time that there was another Caylee sighting in Tennessee today.
Whomever has Caylee must have a lot of money to be travelling from Orlando, to California, to Tennessee in the span of 2 weeks. PLEASE do NOT let me see Cindy Anthony or any Anthony, in my state. If I "spot" Caylee in TN, trust me, I will make sure NOT to call Cindy.

George replies he was "appalled", to Larry's question regarding Orlando LE arrest of Casey. George further stated that LE did not "do anything". NO Amber Alert, NO FBI involvement. George's statement, when broken down, is, Orange County did not contact the FBI HE wanted them to contact. George also throws out there that he "has a little bit of knowledge of some "stuff", and you would think that they (LE) would want (sic) have some one want them to have some assistance with trying to find this beautiful three year old little girl, and all I was trying to do was help them."

George, as much as I want to feel for you, you were a homicide detective over 20 years ago, in OHIO. Yes, you have some knowledge. You sure knew the smell of decomposition in Casey's car. But you were a used car salesman, as well. You are/were a security officer before your daughter came in and ripped your life apart. I think Orange County has all the resources they need to put together that Casey is a pathological liar, a thief, and a murderer. I just wish you could step back and see it, since you have so much knowledge. And on that subject, you should know why there was no Amber Alert, this case did not meet criteria. You know full well FBI was and still IS involved. I can not fathom why you lie. Yes, I can, you live with Cindy and Casey.

Back to the "sightings", Cindy is just mindboggled at why no one believes Caylee is alive. She adds, "How do you fight with someone who is sitting four feet from someone who looks just like Caylee, and they are positive it is Caylee?"

Excuse me, what the hell? What exactly does that mean, Cindy? How do you fight with whom? This is just another example of "Spindy". If I saw a little girl that looked like Caylee, I would not "take a photo and not turn it into the police, then wait four days and contact YOUR private investigator". If the evidence that has been released has not presented what it has, I can't really say what I would do if it were to happen. I would contact the police immediately, I know that. I imagine I may take a picture of the child, and the person(s) she was with, in case she were to leave before authorities arrive. I would also keep an eye on the child, observe interaction between the child and whomever they are with, and wait for the police to arrive to tell them what I have witnessed.

One caller asked Cindy why she changed her mind about the "smell" of the car. Cindy's reply was that she "didn't change her mind". She just did not know how bad garbage could smell after sitting for 19 days in the hot Orlando heat. She also stated that the towing company worker told her himself that "the smell came directly from the pizza in the trunk". George re-itterated the same answer.

Really, Cindy? Hmm. Did you read the evidence that states there was NO PIZZA in the trunk?
Cindy also said she has opened her refrigerator before and said, "Man, it smells like something died in there."
Sounds as if Cindy needs a maid in addition to a therapist.

George mainly sat quietly with his creepy grin and allowed Cindy do most of the speaking. When a caller, the second of only two, asked what he really felt about the smell in the car. His answer was just as Cindy's. It was the garbage and the pizza that was in the car.
Watch yourself, George, even if Cindy thinks lying is not against the law, perjury is.
Cindy piped in and said "..she saw the pizza."

I don't recall in the released documents Cindy was ever near the car at the tow yard during the "trash bag retrieval". She was too busy trying to lower the tow/impound bill.

I believe George forgets most of America has seen and heard his interviews with the FBI and Orlando LE.
Especially the OCSO audio interview, where George becomes physically ill, vomiting into the trash can in the office where the interview was being held. This occurring after George recalled the smell of the car and how he hoped in his heart, "Please, please, please, don't let this be my Caylee." That was just before the tow yard worker grabbed the bag and tossed it over into the dumpster. And, according to the tow yard worker, it did not land in the dumpster at that time, it landed beside it. It was after George and Cindy left that he put it in the dumpster. He states that the next morning, after hearing of missing Caylee on the news, when he arrived at the tow yard, he went to retrieve the trash bag from the dumpster and could not find it. Orlando LE had already retrieved the bag out of the dumpster at 4am that morning with a search warrant, before the tow yard worker arrived.

At one moment, Cindy mis-speaks and calls Casey "Caylee", stating that "Caylee is a wonderful mother."
Pot shots at Nancy Grace and Leonard Padilla were thrown out there. Not sure why that was necessary, only that Cindy always has to belittle someone. Her statement was that she gets "phone calls all the time saying that when Caylee returns, they (the callers) will never watch Nancy Grace again." I don't think Nancy will lose any sleep over that one.

To sum the interview up, Cindy and George think Casey is the most wonderful daughter and mother of the year. Caylee is alive. Law enforcement has not helped them one iota, and has been building a case against Casey since day two.

Well, Cindy, you have one out of five right.

Orange County Sheriff's Office released a statement to Larry King before the interview.

"From the beginning our desire was to find Caylee Marie Anthony alive and well. Unfortunately, evidence revealed that we are looking for a deceased child. The sheriff's office got involved because Cindy Anthony called us about her missing granddaughter. The resulting investigation led to a Grand Jury indictment of Casey Anthony of Murder in the First Degree. Our hearts go out to the Anthony's for the extremely hard time they are living through."

As Larry read the statement from OCSO, Cindy sat with a smirk on her face, then dropped her head at the mention of Casey and the indictment.

Most of the posters on Larry King's website/blog during the interview were posting negative comments regarding the Anthony's and how they are in denial and that Caylee is "not alive". There were a few positive comments for the Anthony's sending support for them.

The blog contains a personal message written by Cindy, dated today at 2:58pm. The blog is still open and can be found at

Cindy Anthony Spins into California and Stops By Larry King

George Anthony has spent endless hours keeping his granddaughter Caylee's photos out in the public and raising awareness about the missing three year old. On Tuesday, he and his wife, Cindy, flew to California for a national media appearance. Tuesday's media blitz began with Matt Lauer interviewing Jose Baez on NBCs Today Show. Baez is sticking to the story that Caylee is alive.

The Anthony's are also going to be following up on a tip of a possible Caylee sighting. (From July)

"We have to go where ever people think they see her," said George Anthony.

The Anthony's private investigator, Dominic Casey, says of the couple who called in the sighting, believes they saw Caylee in a restaurant. "A family was sitting there of Spanish origin...within the family was a little girl who they interacted with. The rest of the family spoke more Spanish than English...and the little girl only spoke English," said Dominic Casey.

I assume that would be "Spanglish" according to Cindy. During the hours of released FBI interviews with Cindy Anthony, she spoke of Caylee counting in Spanish, learning a few new words and phrases a week in Spanish. Although the family did not speak Spanish, Cindy stated that Casey Anthony spoke "Spanglish", a mix of Spanish-English, but was not fluent in Spanish, although she did take a high school course in Spanish. Cindy's explanation for Caylee's Spanish was that Zanaida was teaching Caylee the Spanish words and phrases.

The man who called in the tip is an attorney. Dominic Casey says the man was dining with his girlfriend. "He and his girlfriend provided sworn affidavits. They had been prepared by an attorney," said Dominic Casey. In those affidavits, Dominic Casey says the couple swore that they truly believed that the child they saw was Caylee Marie Anthony.

George and Cindy Anthony will be going to that restaurant where that possible sighting took place. They're hoping to look at surveillance video captured of the child. George Anthony told FOX 35 that he was anxious to see what they find. "We'd love to have her home before Christmas."

From other reports, it has been stated that this sighting took place in July, 2008. OCSO did not have any comment on this new sighting. A reporter added that since the sighting had been so long ago, the surveillance tape has to have been taped over by now, unless the surveillance tapes are saved or backed up daily.

As an aside, Casey Anthony ordered a Spanish/English dictionary on her last commissary order.

Sounds like another "Cindy-spin" to me.

Wonder if the Larry King interview is before or after the surveillance tape viewing? And yes, Cindy and George plan on taking calls.
We will see how that goes.

The Larry King Live episode airs Wednesday night at 9pm EST/ 8pm CST.

Jose Baez on Today Show Video Here

Watch entire video of Matt Lauer's interview of Jose Baez here via MSNBC .

Cindy Anthony's Weekly TV Line Up / Media Blitz

Set your DVRs, TiVo's, and your VCRs for those of you that still use them.

Cindy Anthony, self-made mediawhore is hitting the airways again.

Cindy and George Anthony are unemployed, Larry Garrison rolled them for thousands, and Judge Strickland ruled against gagging, err, the gag order, and now, Cindy has to get busy "spinning" her stories before her daughter Casey's upcoming trial date.

This week's featured media exposure planned:

Tuesday, 12/9/08 - Jose Baez on Today

Wednesday, 12/10/08 - George and Cindy appear on Larry King Live

Friday 12/12/08 - Dateline NBC will air a special report on the ‘Search for Caylee’

Casey's trial is tentatively set for January 5, 2009, however, as of this post, Jose Baez, Casey's defense lawyer, has yet to pick up 2 discs that contain 50 hours and 1,800 crime/tip line tips and hundreds of pages of evidence. These discs have been sitting at OCSO for a month.
Save for Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky and Dr. Henry Lee, it doesn't look as if Baez and company is Casey's "dream team."
Hell, Baez has not had enough "trial time" to try the case himself, therefore having to add additional counsel to the payroll.

In addition to not acquiring pertinent discovery documents, to which in a recent hearing, Baez suggested the State "look into the $900+ copying fee" his firm has to pay to get the documents. Baez was shot down by both prosecution and Judge Strickland for making the comment.
In media interviews, Baez claims that law enforcement is withholding evidence, even though it is he that has not retrieved the evidence.

Just think of all the people who have already read, listened to, watched, and/or downloaded them, and how many of those people may be in the future jury pool.
Baez has yet to file a change of venue and no filing on behalf of Casey for a speedy trial.
What exactly is Baez doing? Oh yes, he got Casey a computer for her own use.

Also, Cindy and George are also planning a road trip to California to check out other "Caylee Sightings" during their media blitz. Some of these sightings are from July, 2008. More to come.

God Bless You, Caylee. You are in our hearts.

NEW EVIDENCE RELEASED IN CASEY ANTHONY CASE

Clicking on post title above will take you to Fox 35 Orlando's new, raw, unedited, release of jail visit between Casey and Cindy and George.

New documents have been released this afternoon regarding Casey Anthony's Intentional Murder case.

Casey is also disputing a picture that was taken of Caylee, supposedly this past Spring by Casey's hairdresser, that depicts Caylee with what appears to be a black eye.

Oh it's just amazing the web of lies this girl can weave and the shit she can spew.

I wonder if these disputes come from the same pile as George's explanation of the earlier released photos of Casey's pole dancing and bump and grind with her female partner. George said the "pole dancing" pictures of Casey at Fusian were taken while Casey was pregnant with Caylee.
Really, George? Casey would not have been of legal age to drink in an establishment. Most of the photos clearly show Casey intoxicated. So you are saying, George, that you and Cindy approved of "the potential" of Casey drinking to the point of intoxication while pregnant with your grandchild. Oh, that's right. Casey lied about being pregnant.

Across town, Jose Baez, is still bitching about the $900 in copying fees for the previous evidence released, and continues to accuse Orlando Law Enforcement of witholding evidence, BUT, has yet to pick up a disc containing roughly 50 hours of police tips from law enforcement's crime line and/or tip line.

Just how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?
Casey may know the answer to that question.

As for the finale today, George and Cindy are requesting Florida Mall release all surveillance tapes over to them of the day that this photo was taken by a Mall patron. The photo was taken by a cell phone camera over a week ago. It took almost four days before Orlando County Sheriff's Department was made aware of the photo. Instead of contacting the Caylee Anthony Tip Line, CrimeStoppers, or just 911, the photog went to the Anthony website to look for information as to where to turn the photo in at.

And to the person using the cell phone to "photograph" person "resembling Caylee Anthony" and waiting four hours to contact Cindy Anthony instead of Law Enforcement -- "Here's Your Sign.".

Late Friday, the Florida State Prosecutors' office released a statement, in regards to the case against Casey Anthony, that the death penalty would not be sought. Casey Anthony is in protective custody at the Orange County jail for intentional murder of her daughter Caylee.

On Sunday, Cindy and George Anthony held a prayer vigil for their missing grand-daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, at Eastside Baptist Church in Orlando. It was there, the news media caught up with Cindy, ever so eager to be in front of the cameras, and asked for her reaction to the State's decision to not seek the death penalty against their daughter, Casey Anthony.

In true Cindy "spin", Cindy called the entire case against her daughter "ridiculous". "I don't think they have much of a case at all, I don't think they have a death penalty case at all, so I wasn't surprised.", Cindy stated.

Noting that the whole notion of raising a death penalty case against her daughter was ridiculous, Cindy also added, "I think we should be out there looking for Caylee and not focused on a few lies Casey told to the Sheriff's Office. The evidence will speak for itself."

Yes, Cindy, the evidence will speak for itself. It is speaking loud and clear, just as loud as you and all of your family on the recently released tapes. You state how Casey and you are so much alike, how does that help the case? We know from released documents that Casey is a pathological liar, and hasn't fallen too far from the tree. And my burning question (one of many) is why aren't YOU out there, Cindy, looking for Caylee. Why didn't Casey go out and LOOK for Caylee, not just the first 31 days she went missing, but also on the first, second, and third, time she was released on bond? How is driving that massive "mobile billboard" around "looking" for Caylee? You sit around and wait for your cell phone to ring, for leads to come to you. You want all the help, but not to help yourself.

I know for one, if Heaven forbid, I were in your shoes, I would not be bad-mouthing the people that are helping me. The OCSO have been doing exhaustive work on this case. It can be seen and proven by the released documents. All you do is bad mouth them. Anyone that wants to help, you badmouth. The only person you do NOT badmouth is your own monster of a daughter, Casey.

With the gag order denied, Cindy and George Anthony have arranged an interview with CNN's Larry King Live scheduled to air this week. A date has not been set at this time. I'll keep you posted.

*UPDATE: Cindy and George Anthony to appear on CNNs Larry King Live, Wednesday, December 10, 2008, @ 9pm EST/ 8pm CST.
As of this post, they will be taking calls during the show.

I don't know about you, but I surely do not want to miss Larry grill Cindy now that a partial of the State's evidence has been released.

No Death for Casey Anthony (UPDATE)

Florida State Prosecutor's Office just announces it WILL NOT seek the death penalty against Casey Anthony in their case against her for Intentional Murder of her then 2 year old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

*"the potential" for updates later this evening.....

*****************************************************************

UPDATE 12/6/08:
The Orange County State Attorney's Office said in a news release late Friday that "it is not in the best interest of the people of the state of Florida" to pursue the death penalty against 22-year-old Casey Anthony.
The statement by assistant prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick gave no further information on the decision. E-mails from Fox News Orlando to a court spokesman were not immediately returned.

*"the potential": a now famous blurb often rambled by Casey when being interviewed by OCSO and FBI and Orlando LE while weaving her web of lies. Who says that?? The potential...using these five dollar words only make you look less intelligent than you really are. At least use it in context, Casey.

Cindy Anthony email exchange ignites more family fueding

More drama unfolded at the Anthony camp this past week as emails sufaced among another document dump of almost 1,000+ pages of discovery.

The emails are the rantings between Cindy and her brother, Rick Plesea regarding his thoughts on Caylee's disappearance. At one point during the exchange, Rick outright says he thinks Caylee is dead and says to George and Cindy, "What are you thinking, are you two stupid?" Plesea also comments that at his wedding in '05, he commented to Cindy that Casey was pregnant. He said she had to be around seven months pregnant. Cindy's response was "Casey would have to have sex to be pregnant."
Rick seems devestated and emotional in the emails, as he should be. Cindy's tone is the same as we have come to known, cocky and arrogant.

Cindy stated in FBI interviews released last week, "I hope the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
No, Cindy, it doesn't.

You can read the email exchange here, at another great website, Humble Opinion's Weblog.

Casey Anthony's Favorite Song...Could it Hold Clues??

It has been reported that Casey Anthony listened to this song repeatedly over the months leading up to and after the disappearance of Caylee. The video is the song with lyrics only. I find it very haunting, chilling and telling.

In one verse of the song, it mentions about life being like a roller coaster. On their Today show interview, when asked how this ordeal has affected him and Cindy, George replies, "it is like a roller coaster". At the time I thought, what an odd response. What could possibly be any "highs" you would have from knowing your granddaughter is possibly dead.

Coincidence? Maybe. My opinion, yes. You decide.

"The Past" by SevenDust w/ Chris Daughtry courtesy YouTube

Florida TV station WFTV-Channel 9 reported Thursday, November 20, 2008, that SEVENDUST’s song “The Past” was played repeatedly by Casey Anthony — who has been charged with first-degree murder in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee — while she was out on bond. The SEVENDUST track carries this lyric: “Beneath the water that’s falling from my eyes, Lays a soul I’ve left behind.” The song was also apparently a topic of discussion on “Nancy Grace”, a nightly current affairs show on CNN’s Headline News hosted by Nancy Ann Grace, an American legal commentator, television host, and former prosecutor.

SEVENDUST has issued the following statement regarding the matter:

“After hearing the news that our song ‘The Past’ was a topic of discussion on the Nancy Grace show yesterday, we would like to elaborate. The song was written as a song of hope. A song with positive message. To look back on your life and reflect and to feel good about getting through the rough times that everyone goes through, the roller coaster of life, so to speak.

“We regret that we’ve been linked to the horrible subject involving the disappearance of little Caylee Anthony. Most of us have children and have been saddened by the story from the beginning.

“We pray for the safe return of this beautiful young child and wish her family strength.”

PHOTO OF POSSIBLE CAYLEE ANTHONY SIGHTING

Could this be Caylee Anthony?

This photo was released by the Anthony's on Thursday, November 20, 2008. It is a cell phone photo taken by two women who were at an undisclosed location in Orlando. These women did not send the photo to Orange County Sheriff's Office, nor to the Anthony's. Instead, they took the time to "research" the Anthony's Private Investigative firm, D & A Investigations. It was from there the photo was made available to the Anthony's, who then set up an interview with Channel 13 in Orlando to release the photo.

This photo was taken on Sunday, November 16, 2008. After a turn around of almost 5 full days, the photo was released to the public.

Notice in the picture that the child speculated to be Caylee is touching part of the play area equipment. After this time lapse, one would think all hopes of fingerprints would be gone. These areas are maintained and cleaned daily, not to mention the number of other children who would have touched that same area. I realize that with today's high tech forensic equipment, partial fingerprints can be obtained. I just don't believe in the likely hood of that happening. Today is another day going by that no one is testing. Where is the Anthony's PI? Why is he not testing for prints?

There is no date on the photo. How do we not know this is a photo from an earlier time in Caylee's life, if it is even Caylee. I see similarities. My heart would love for this to be her. However, my mind and my following of the case tell me otherwise. If Caylee were to walk through Cindy and George's front door right now, who was decomposing in the trunk of Casey's car?

When given one last opportunity to make a statement to whomever may have Caylee, George Anthony did not address the kidnappers. I do not now of one time that the Anthony's have ever addressed the "kidnappers". George's statement was that "..anyone who thinks they have seen Caylee, call us, call KidFinders, call D & A Investigations. And if you still feel secure in contacting the authorities, call them..." As George made this remark, Cindy, who sat with her head down during the entire interview, shook her head and said, "No, call us."

George also stated that he would go above heads and the authority to bring Caylee home. He had lost all trust in the authorities since day two of this ordeal. He also re-issued Lee Anthony's statement from the last vigil for Caylee, that "....the authorities are supposed to protect and serve. Who is protecting Caylee?"

My answer to your comment, Lee, is your sister, Casey, was supposed to be protecting and serving Caylee. She failed at both. Miserably.

Cindy Anthony Craves the Media Spotlight

Cindy loves the media spotlight.
courtesy USA Today

I am anxiously awaiting the Anthony Family's presser regarding their "hard evidence" they have that beautiful Caylee Anthony is alive. It is supposed to take place "sometime this week".

If there is "hard evidence" this family has their mitts on, why in the hell have they not turned it over to Orange County's finest? Why is Caylee not at home already? It's Thursday already. Only two more days left in this week. How much longer can they wait?

Cindy contradicts herself each time she opens her mouth. From the first 911 calls, she stated Caylee was gone. She also stated that Casey had been missing as well, if you recall. Problem is Cindy, you knew Casey wasn't "missing", you just didn't know where she was. Cindy stated the car smelled like "a body in the damn car". Now, the smell is contributed to pizza, squirrels, other road kill, etc. Hell, renowned forensic scientist Henry Lee is stating now that the car was literally filled with garbage. (wondering if that little tidbit was a "leak" on Baez's behalf) Dr. Lee states there was "meat, cheese, frozen dinners, and a case of soda". Dr. Lee, famous forensic scientist, also known for the infamous O J Simpson trial, now on the Casey Anthony defense team, believes that lunchmeat, and frozen dinners are the cause of the decomposition smell in the car. Which, if you haven't heard, is still pungent after 4 and a half months. Who drives around with frozen dinners in their car? Oh, this is Casey Anthony I am speaking of, I forgot.

Cindy's other contradictions are that the family's focus has been on an "alive" Caylee from day one. Why the freak out over the decomp smell? Is your daughter in the habit of driving around with decomposing bodies in her car? No Cindy, you are in the medical profession, George is a former homicide detective, turned used car salesman, turned security officer. You both should know what decomposition smells like. I am in the medical field and I do. It is something you do not ever wish to smell. Once you do, you do not forget it.

Cindy stated two days ago "that until something concrete comes in from the "authorities", and not just speculation from someone else, this is what our focus is on." With focus meaning an "alive" Caylee. What are the "sightings" you are reporting each time a search is held? Have they been concrete? No. Just speculation. None of these sighting has proven any knowledge that Caylee is out there. So I wonder, what is the difference between your speculation and everyone related to the case and law enforcement's speculation?

Casey Anthony is NOT a victim. Stop saying she is, Cindy. Caylee is the only victim in this case. Cindy and George Anthony have been victimized by the acts their daughter, Casey, has committed.

Anyone find this picture as eerie as I? Who smiles while awaiting a first appearance in court, much less a bond hearing? I guess she liked the pink handcuffs. Makes me wonder what is really going on in that "mind" of Casey.
Something tells me this will be "the shot" for the movie preview. Please do not let there be a movie.

Amy Huizenga is a victim of Casey, as well. How soon you forget, Cindy, the day you called Amy in a frantic frenzy wanting to know the whereabouts of Casey. If not for Amy, who knows how long this saga would have went on before law enforcement was called. Cindy's version of this story doesn't sit well with me either. Cindy claims she found Amy's phone number on a piece of paper in the car after it was brought home from the tow-in lot. Casey made hundreds of text messages a day. Why would she have Amy's phone number on a piece of paper in her car when she would text her multiple times every single day. Hell, it was just that day, that Casey picked up Amy from the airport in Amy's car. Not being able to fit everyone returning with Amy from Puerto Rico in the car, Amy drove Casey back to Tony's apartment. She then returned to pick up the other friends from the airport. How convenient, on this day of days, Cindy contacts Amy within, at the most, 2 hours of her returning to Orlando and dropping Casey off at Tony's. Cindy admits she spoke to Casey on the phone during the 31 days. Cindy has said Casey was on a vacation, or at a conference for her bogus employer. But yet, again, on the 911 call, Cindy states Casey had been missing as well. The truth, we know now is Cindy had spoken to Casey, but had not known her whereabouts until the day of the 911 call, when Amy took Cindy to Tony's.

Cindy speaks of Casey's "mis-truths". That is sorta like being "kinda pregnant", either you are or you are not. You either tell the truth or you lie. A lie is a lie is a lie. You have done a fine job of raising liars. But hey, what can you expect, they learned from the best. And yes, Cindy, lying can be against the law. Your daughter is proof of it. There is also that little thing call perjury..remember that when you are on the stand.

So back to waiting for the press conference. I'm sure it will be cancelled as was the interview with Nancy Grace last Friday night, along with the first conference promised at the beginning of the week.

If you do have evidence, Cindy, why wait? Why wouldn't you want Caylee home with you. How sad your Christmas will be without her. I go through holidays without a close loved one of mine. It doesn't get easier and the first holidays alone are the worst. I suppose you can ease your pain by holding more press junkets.

I realize you want to hold on to every ounce of hope that Caylee is alive. I get it. I really do. I have had one foot in your shoes. Not with a child, but with an adult. My mind raced day and night. As much as I wanted to hope for "life", I couldn't help but let my mind think of "death". I scanned each news broadcast every night just to see if an unknown body had been found. No, I didn't have media covering me, reporters nor microphones in my face 24/7. I had my city and county law enforcement working with me and my family. That was all. There are small similarities, but yes, my story is majorly different. However, anyone who is missing a family member, a loved one, shows some kind of emotion. Mostly a heart heavy pleading for information, a breaking down of emotions. Not rude insults to those who care and want to help. I have yet to hear you plead to anyone, someone, even if it were Zenaida, to bring Caylee home. Only a "She's out there." "She's alive." If you are really having people watched, and know who they are and where Caylee is, why in the living hell you are in, have you not brought that baby home? I would give my life if I were in your shoes if it meant my child would be back home with family and live a full life.

I pray for Caylee every night. I feel she is already with the angels. I also pray for your Cindy and George. My prayers for Casey is that she will learn to tell the truth. That Casey will tell the location of little Caylee's remains so that they may rest in peace.

This beautiful little girl will always be forever young and live in many of our hearts for a long time to come. A unique tight knit group of people who have taken Caylee in as our own. We want closure for this as well.

Casey, you have affected more people than you intended. You did a selfish act by taking that precious girls life. What you are probably unaware of though, is you have also made thousands of people hurt, cry, and join together in the name of Caylee. You are the loser in all of this. How do you not see that?

I am all for the death penalty, but in your case, I am undecided. I believe death for you is an easy way out. I can only imagine what Caylee went through. I think your punishment should be life in prison, without parole. That would give you each day of the remainder of your miserable life to remember what you have done.

But something tells me you are still only thinking of yourself.

Click on link below to hear Cindy Anthony spew more shit about the case and how "no one is helping Caylee." She objected to the prayer service and to Leonard Padilla's own efforts to search Little Econ River at Blanchard Park, a park where Caylee loved to visit. This is also the park that Casey claims she left Caylee with Zenaida after her "Sawgrass Apartment" story fell through.

Thories also floating are that Casey claims she left Caylee at "Sawgrass Apartments". While there is such an apartment complex, the Little Econ River is highly overgrown with "sawgrass", common in Florida.

Over the past weekend, beads were found that match a cross with beads similar to the arts and crafts beads found in Casey's bedroom. The cross necklace with beading was found by a TES searcher in August and a picture was taken. More beads were unearthed under the same tree by Padilla's searchers this past weekend under the same tree.

Cindy Anthony wants to deny anthing that has to do with Caylee's "body". She is under the impression this child is alive. Although it is her opinion, there is enough evidence to more than speculate that this child is no longer alive. Cindy has an agenda to bash everyone that attempts to help her search, while she has not been seen searching. Although it is speculated she "lurks" in blogs and message boards related to the case.

I would be more than thankful to anyone that would help in anyway to find my child if they were missing. Live search or recovery. This family needs closure. I feel as long as there is no body, she does not really believe Caylee is alive, she knows there will be media on her and her daughter Casey. Cindy is a media whore and ungrateful. It is not hard to see the apple did not fall far from the tree.

Everytime there is new information on the searches, Cindy comes out with a "Caylee sighting".

There have been 2 "sightings" in the last 5 days. On Saturday, a sighting in Gainesville, that turnout futile. Also, Thursday, after the find at Blanchard Park, Cindy released a second sighting tip that she did not even respond to in person. The authorities there said it was not Caylee.

Orange is your color, Casey ***UPDATED**10/15/08

UPDATED Wednesday, 10/15/08, in bold.

An impromptu post this evening.

Today has been somewhat of a bittersweet day for me. Illness and an entire day of legal goings on. Save for the illness. It would have been a great day.

Yesterday, it was leaked that searchers had found a Mickey Mouse dress that is supposedly like one that Caylee had worn. It is a size six. People over the Internet have been scouring photos looking for it.
By happenstance, I have found the pictures below, located on a local Orlando news website. Although it is Mickey Mouse dress, Caylee appears to be between 12-24 months old. It is hard to tell without an actual date. I am only going by my own knowledge of pictures of my children at that age. My youngest, during her first years, resembled Caylee somewhat.

Hauntingly eerie.

UPDATE:

On Wednesday, October 15, 2008, during a live interview with Meredith Vieira, Cindy Anthony presented, as evidence, the Mickey Mouse dress that appears in the photos above. The dress Cindy offered was clearly not a size 6. It was more of a toddler size. Such as the one in the pictures. I, myself, do believe the dress in the pictures and the one Cindy provided in the interview are one and the same.

From the pictures above, you can clearly tell that Caylee would not be of age to wear a children's size 6. Tim Miller, of Texas Equusearch, was dismayed and troubled that this evidence regarding the dress find was even leaked to the public. He did state however, that the dress was turned over to authorities and is being tested for DNA. He began to state his own theories regarding his doubt about the size and it belonging to Caylee. I believe Tim Miller is knowledgeable and has spent countless hours and his own money and resources to aid in finding missing persons. He is a victim himself, as his daughter, Laura, was abducted and killed in 1986. Her body was found 17 months later in a wooded area, along with 3 other women. To this day, Laura's abductor has not been identified.

If Cindy Anthony does not believe a dress of Caylee's was found, why not bring charges of defamation; false statements, as her own daughter was charged for; or tampering with an ongoing investigation and or evidence.

As far as the size of the dress, I am not positive that Caylee would wear a size 6. During my children's' 3 year old days, I know they wore clothes that ranged in size from 2T-4T, depending on height and weight. My youngest, which most resembled Caylee at this age, wore a 5T well into Kindergarten, due to her build and weight. This Mickey Mouse dress could have been a gift to Caylee. We all know how clothes given as gifts never fit right. They are either too small or too big. If the dress that was found does belong to Caylee, Caylee could have worn the dress as a nightgown, if it was a little large or roomy.

*********************************************************

The Grand Jury has returned a true bill on indictments for Casey Anthony. It took place at around 4pm, EST. The findings were sealed until the "person indicted was arrested". How much more mystery and circus atmosphere can this one family provide. At one point, Cindy Anthony, who was driving her monster daughter, Casey, home from Jose Baez's attorney's office, stopped underneath a freeway overpass, and Casey switched cars, entering a gray SUV, belonging to her "bail bondsman". We later learned undercover sheriff deputies were on Cindy's tail. Cindy claimed she was letting Casey turn herself into authorities at this strange location. The sheriff's department Cindy's statements. Aerial law enforcement lost track of the Anthony's SUV at one point during the travels. Undercover sheriff's deputies caught up to the gray SUV as it neared the Orlando International Airport. This is the location that searchers are centering on during their latest search. Was this Casey's last attempt to obstruct evidence? We may never know.

What I don't understand, why did Casey need to return home before turning herself into authorities? Was it not just Friday, Baez argued that Casey wanted out of her "home confinement", or at least have it lax, to "search for Caylee"? Maybe Casey needed a one last look at her home, one of the things she so took for granted the last year or so. My bets are on the evidence theory. Either way, it is just another chapter in this unending circus of tragedy.

One of my blogging friends suggested she sell those ridiculous white, oversize sunglasses on eBay to pay for her attorney.
Jose Baez, the attorney who does not have the 5 years experience, or any experience for that matter, to partake in a criminal case.

You can't make this stuff up.

The video surveillance of Casey's shopping sprees at Target are comparative to bad comedy. The video shows all of her purchases, including lingerie, a beret (I have yet to figure this one out), the infamous white, oversize sunglasses, and the most prized item of all, the blue "82" hoodie that she fashions in her first mug shot.
One or more items are missing, however. Not one thing for 3 year old Caylee. Can any mother say they have went shopping and not bought something for their child? Whether it a piece of gum, a book, something.
Can anyone be any more brazen? Yes, Casey can. She purchases all of her new wardrobe with her "best friend" Amy's check, and signs HER OWN NAME. Maybe at the time she was worried about forgery. It only took one time, though. Again, everything was so easy for Casey. No questions asked. At the other sprees, she began to forge Amy's signature. If you are going to do it, do it big. Seems to be Casey's motto.

Casey seems to have a lifetime of sociopathic behavior. Maybe if someone had just once questioned Casey's actions early on, instead of allowing her have her way, none of this would have happened.

During my blogging hiatus, while I had moved on to bigger and better things such as chemotherapy and radiation, I began to follow missing persons reports. I am sure you all know about precious Caylee Anthony.

The beautiful, 3 year old, little girl that went missing from her home, or I should say, the last time her grandparents saw her, was June 15, 2008. Father's Day for many. Little Caylee did not have a father that she knew of. Her grandfather, George Anthony, also known as "Pop-Pop", was supposedly the last known person to see her alive on August 16, 2008. This was a Monday afternoon, around 12:50pm est. I have my own theories about his testimony surrounding this day. On the same token, I believe George Anthony is the most "sane" of the Anthony clan. However, I do not take everything he says at face value. It is one thing to want to save your daughter, but what if your daughter is the callous monster that killed your granddaughter.

I know a lot of you know all the details by this time. I have an entire journal devoted just to this case and plan on publishing some of my theories and stories and thoughts from other bloggers I have met across the country.

Before my nursing career, my mother-in-law wanted to send me to law school. She wanted a lawyer in the family. I have always had a fascination with law and crime. You can imagine my favorite tv shows. I have two TiVos and they are full of Nancy Grace and anything pertaining to Caylee; TruTv Forensic Files, Dr. G.; Dateline; TruCrimes, etc.; and I love the new Discovery ID channel.

How do you feel about the Anthony case? Any theories or thoughts?
I would love to strike up good conversation/debate regarding the case.

Now back to the main reason for the post:

Let's take the time tonight, to reflect on sweet Caylee. That precious little girl who won our hearts. My her soul rest in peace. I pray her Casey wises up to the fact that her lies have run out and the law enforcement is and has done everything they can to put an end to her charade. Bless the law enforcement's family, I know it has been a strain on their families due to law enforcement family members working long, dedicated hours on this case all in the name of Caylee.

Thank you, Orlando Police Department and Orlando Sheriff's Department, Florida State Prosecutor's Office, Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch, and others that have worked so diligently on this case for nothing other than justice.

Everyone, please hug your children and loved ones close tonight, and once more for Caylee.

I hope you look good in orange, Casey, it's going to be your color.
